Witchspire Biomes & Map

Quick Answer

Witchspire's Early Access build has 2 explorable biomes — the Meadows (Vyrs) you start in and the Desert (Shuddersands). Both open during the "Dream Between Worlds" tutorial. Tundra, grasslands and more islands are planned for 1.0, not in EA yet.

Getting around: Flight Pillars

Once you've unlocked the broom, travel opens up — but flight is gated per region by Flight Pillars you have to activate (for example the one near Vyr's Landing). Until a region's pillar is active, you can't fly there even with the broom equipped.

Player questions worth knowing

Two common ones: the Flight Pillar in Vyr's Landing is the early Meadows one to activate, and the opalescent half-sphere in the Froblin Cave is a landmark players keep asking about while exploring the camps.

Biomes & map FAQ

How many biomes are in Witchspire?
2 in the current Early Access build: the Meadows (Vyrs) and the Desert (Shuddersands). The full vision adds tundra, grasslands and more islands, but those are planned for 1.0 — not live yet.
Where are the Shard Caverns?
The Shard Caverns are the cave network beneath Timberline Basin in the Meadows biome.
Where is Chirili Crater?
Chirili Crater is a landmark within the Meadows / Vyrs biome, alongside Mira Isles and the Eastell Peninsula.
Is there a tundra biome?
Not in Early Access. Tundra (and additional grasslands/islands) is part of the planned 1.0 vision, but only the Meadows and Desert are explorable right now.
How do I travel between biomes?
Via broom flight once unlocked — but each region's Flight Pillar must be activated before you can fly there. See the broom unlock guide for the full chain.
