Witchspire Coven Chooser Quiz

Quick Answer

Not sure which coven to pick? Answer 3 quick questions and we'll recommend one of the 6 covens. Honest heads-up: in Early Access the pick is mostly playstyle and looks — your starting weapon and outfit color — so the quiz points you at a vibe, not a power tier. Full comparison table is below.

Take the quiz

How the quiz works

  1. 01

    Pick your range

Melee or ranged? This is the one choice that actually changes how you start — melee covens hand you a Spellblade, ranged covens hand you a Wand.

  2. 02

    Pick your element / vibe

Lux, Crystal, Ethereal, Nature, Nox or Astral. In EA this is theme and color only, but it sets the fantasy you role-play.

  3. 03

    Get your match

The quiz narrows the 6 covens down to the one that fits your answers and links you straight to its profile.

Why every result is a 'safe' result

There's no bad outcome here. A coven in Early Access only sets your starting weapon (replaceable in 2–3 hours) and your color palette. The announced per-coven elemental passives aren't live yet — so the quiz is matching you to a look and a playstyle, and any coven can clear the game. The one thing to know going in: your choice is lifelong on that character.

Quiz FAQ

Is there a wrong coven to pick?
No. In Early Access no coven is mechanically stronger — they differ only in starting weapon and outfit color. Pick the one you like the look of; the quiz just speeds that up.
What is the best coven for beginners?
A ranged Wand coven is the gentler start because you take less damage fighting from a distance — Wildroots is the most beginner-friendly pick. If you like getting in close, any melee Spellblade coven works just as well.
Melee vs ranged coven — which should I choose?
Melee (Spellblade) covens are fast and aggressive but trade hits up close; ranged (Wand) covens are safer and let you kite. Both are viable solo and in groups, and you can swap your weapon early anyway — so choose the feel you enjoy.
How many covens are there?
6: three melee Spellblade covens and three ranged Wand covens.
Can I retake the quiz or change my answer?
Yes — the quiz is just a guide, retake it as many times as you want. But once you confirm a coven in character creation it's locked for that character, so take the result into the game with you.
